I kept wondering as I read this, "Where on earth did these people get this information?" The book is heavily skewed Christian, and if you are of a Pagan orientation, much of the content is going to seem bordering on bizarre. I think I should have stopped reading when they told the story of the wild mare that, after hours of meditation with one of the authors, transmitted the word "communion" to her. The author immediately interpreted this as "we needed to go back to church."Hard, screeching stop.What about "communion" with nature, the planet, the Goddes... there's zero mention of the Goddess — a well-known entity to Pagan communities.There were a few gems of information here and there, but having spotted so many errors and slants, I feel compelled to seek out information that corroborates the statements and information in this book.Bottom line, if you are coming from a Pagan orientation... take a pass on this book.
