Okay now this was a fun twist. Mercy always plays a part in rescuing herself and she's very good at it but this time she's not the only one in need of rescue and she's the only one who can help. It certainly kicks out any accusations about an Alpha male coming in to save the day without going back on the partnership this wolf and coyote have been learning to develop. I'm in love with Mercy and Adam's relationship, I think it's a rare thing (aka adorable, steamy, AND healthy) in this genre, and I support them 200%. As with every book this one stands on its own while continuing to develop the characters and the world and as always (so far) I'm dying to dive straight into the next one!
